Free will and Meaning

Smack in middle of an argument William Lane Craig had this little proposition that will be the heart of this post. Naturally, I’m going to take it out of context, mine it out of its sentence, and let it make its own point. Why? Because this is the internet and I can. I jest! (A little.) Honestly, I think this quote does stands on its own as WLC has said many similar things. Heck, he’s even soft-debated Calvinists in order to fight for some semblance of free will. (Don’t do Calvinism kids.) So here we go.

Freedom of the will is a necessary condition of the meaningfulness of my life. -William Lane Craig

I think the statement is strong enough to take out the “my.”
